Hello Everyone,
I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer and a safe 4th of July. As some of you may or may not know, I have been volunteering at a Summer Conference Series at Franciscan University of Steubenville, in Steubenville Ohio. I have already spent 3 weeks out there, and heading back out for 2 more weeks on Monday after the July 4th Holiday. The over all experience has been very beneficial for me, and there is not one part I would regret doing. Just like with any part of life, there is always a curve ball that is thrown.
While I was staying out there, I felt as though a door was opened and I felt like I needed to walk through because I knew that this opportunity that was in front of me was only going to be there for a short amount of time before it disappeared. I applied to the University for the upcoming fall semester. I have made a decision that if I do get accepted I will continue my college experience at Franciscan. If I do not get accepted I know that RVCC is there for me. Some of you may be asking "If you don't get accepted, will you still take part in the the theatre program at RVCC" I feel as though I have done my part at the Welpe at RVCC and it is time to hand the position over.
The Welpe will always have a spot in my heart, and the memories that were made there will never fade away. I thank you for all the wonderful experiences I was able to take part in and all of the wonderful friendships that were made. There is a tremendous value in all of it, and I sure hope the value never goes away.
If I do get accepted to go to Franciscan, this website will be shut down. However it has been arranged for a link to be put on the College website (not until after the fall semester begins) for you to keep updated on what is going on.
